Performing one of Brian's works?
Composers love to know when and where their works are being performed. This information can be useful in several ways, including reporting to performing rights organizations, which helps support publishers and composers, but costs you nothing! Every year ASCAP collects monies from orchestras, bars, radio stations, karaoke clubs, even sports stadiums—nearly every place and space where music is played. These funds are distributed based on reported performances.
Please let Brian know if you are performing one of his works on an upcoming recital or concert (or even a past performance!). By doing so, you are helping to encourage the further creation of new works for percussion. Thank you!
